Artist's Journey
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Annesha Ellen Weber is a self-taught artist now based in East Texas, where she has built her artistic practice around commissioned portraiture. She works directly with clients to understand their vision, capturing accurate likenesses and the distinctive characteristics that define each subject.
Since completing her first commissions in 2018, Annesha has focused on creating portraits that truly capture what her clients envision. Her approach combines technical skill with genuine care for detail, ensuring each portrait faithfully represents its subject with thoughtful expression.
While portraiture remains central to her practice, her work also includes calligraphic art, landscapes, still life, and religious devotional pieces. These personally motivated works demonstrate the breadth of her artistic capabilities.
Annesha has developed her technical abilities through years of dedicated observation and study. Her self-directed approach has allowed her to build a distinctive voice, evident in her skilled handling of light, texture, and color. Annesha lives in Rusk with her husband and their four children.
